Job Title: Customer Support Advisor - Material Handling

Brandt is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Support Advisor - Material Handling to join our team in Saskatoon. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling material handling parts and service, as well as providing exceptional after-sales support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities through regular cold calls and visits to existing and potential customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, resolving issues and growing customer loyalty through effective communication and follow-up.
  • Meet sales revenue objectives and profit goals set by the branch, while working collaboratively with the sales team to achieve shared goals.
  • Implement a yearly territory plan, including a customer target list, to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, including sales meetings, opportunities, quotes, and notes.
  • Work closely with management to develop and implement new marketing strategies to expand our customer base and increase sales.
  • Ensure the company vehicle is properly maintained and equipped with the necessary tools and materials.
  • Assist the parts counter personnel with quotes, orders, deliveries, returns, and inventory control as needed.
  • Supply competitive product and pricing information to the Parts Manager.
Requirements:
  • Journeyman ticket as a heavy-duty mechanic and/or parts person is an asset.
  • Previous sales experience in the material handling industry is required.
  • Ability to travel within the territory and work flexible hours is essential.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract are required.
  • Positive and professional attitude to both internal and external challenges is necessary.
  • Understanding of specialized material handling equipment and industry is required.
  • Strong time management and people skills, with a high desire to serve customers and nurture relationships, are essential.
  • Ability to work unsupervised, make decisions, complete tasks under pressure, and cooperate with team members who may have different focus and priorities is required.
  • Proficient skills with basic computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel) are necessary.
