Job Description
This position involves building and maintaining tools, dies, and fixtures to support production schedules. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of components produced according to stamping schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain progressive or fine blank dies, jigs, and fixtures at the required level of quality
- Fabricate dies, die sections, fixtures, and other required components within specified time frames
- Troubleshoot and repair dies and fixtures to solve problems within production constraints
- Report any issues affecting on-time work completion
- Provide guidance and teaching to apprentices
- Maintain safety standards and cleanliness of the work area as outlined by supervisory staff
Estimated Salary: $38.22 + Shift Premium per hour
Requirements
- Completion of specialized trade courses and/or apprenticeship/certification
- 1 to less than 3 years of work-related experience
- Certified Tool & Die Maker
- Valid Crane License preferred
