Job Overview:

Highway King is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for operating heavy vehicles, ensuring safe transportation of goods, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate straight or articulated tractors weighing over 4600 kg, with three or more axles
  • Oversee loading and unloading, securing cargo, and enroute load security
  • Perform Driver Vehicle Inspections as per regulations
  • Perform small roadside repairs if necessary
  • Record trip information as per Bill of Lading, Trip Envelope, Expense Forms, Hours of Service
  • Transport Dangerous Goods or HazMat Goods – Training provided

Requirements:

  • Commercial License with Air Endorsement
  • Fluent in basic English
  • Copy of Abstract including Commercial Experience
  • Preference given if Mountain Driving Experience held, but not necessary
  • Consideration given to New Drivers when teamed with experienced Driver
