Job Summary:

The Senior Business Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Commercial Services goals by achieving targets and objectives while providing solid advice on products and services to Commercial Members. This includes analyzing and conducting proper due diligence for medium to high complexity loan proposals, developing appropriate terms, pricing, conditions, and covenants, and preparing loan packages and negotiating with internal partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Account Manager, Commercial Services or Credit Solutions in preparing and presenting high-quality proposals.
  • Develop and implement effective credit analysis and due diligence processes.
  • Prepare and negotiate loan packages, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Prepare reports and assist with compliance-related tasks.
  • Conduct thorough credit analysis and financial modeling to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet annual review and risk management standards for the Commercial Portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Commercial Members and internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in business or related field.
  • Up to 3 years of Commercial lending experience and/or commercial credit adjudication experience.
  • Strong understanding of commercial lending and risk management principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
