Job Title: Reservations Supervisor
At Nu Way Tour & Travels Inc., we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Reservations Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for coordinating travel arrangements, managing reservations, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate travel activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Establish work schedules and procedures to maintain efficiency and productivity.
- Perform same duties as workers supervised to maintain a hands-on approach.
- Prepare and submit reports to management to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to staff to enhance productivity and quality.
- Assist clients/guests with special needs to ensure personalized service.
- Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Recruit and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Maintain operation of computer systems and equipment to ensure business continuity.
- Requisition materials and supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high pressure.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support for newcomers and refugees through assistance with settlement needs and social and labour market integration.
- Assist clients with immediate settlement needs such as housing, transportation, and childcare.
- Support social and labour market integration through language training, skills training, and access to community resources.
- Recruit newcomers and refugees who were displaced by conflict or natural disaster.
- Support credential recognition for newcomers and refugees.
- Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and refugees with experienced employees.
- Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.
