Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Worker to join our team at Regent Hotel. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our commercial building and hotel facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors and stairs
- Operate industrial vacuum cleaners and other equipment to remove debris and waste
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers
- Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
- Make minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Contact contractors for major repairs and maintenance
- Perform safety and security checks
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
- Perform other routine maintenance jobs, such as painting and drywall repair
- Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Valid driver's license
- Basic security clearance
- Ability to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks
- Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and bending, crouching, and kneeling
- Weight handling capacity up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
