Tulloch Engineering is a leading consulting engineering firm with a strong commitment to excellence and innovation. We are seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to join our team in one of our locations in Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, Huntsville, or North Bay.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Environmental Engineer to provide leadership and operational support to our Environmental team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in contaminated site investigations, records of site condition, and excess soils management. They will also have a strong understanding of provincial and federal guidelines for contaminated site assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, training, and operational support to junior and intermediate staff in the areas of environmental site assessment, remediation, and risk assessment.
  • Serve as a resource in your field of expertise.
  • Analyze and prepare documentation, presentations, and review reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engage with other senior members within the firm to advance our brand and standing with clients.

Requirements

  • University degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (or Professional Geoscientist) in Ontario is required. Licensing in other provinces within Canada is considered an asset.
  • Extensive experience in contaminated site investigations (Phase I and II ESAs) is a requirement.
  • Extensive experience completing Records of Site Condition (Phase One, Phase Two, and Remediation).
  • Extensive experience in Excess Soils Management (Ontario Regulation 406/19).
  • Extensive experience in soil and groundwater remediation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational skills, strong work ethic, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, self-initiative, and eagerness to learn.
  • Valid Class "G" driver's license is required.
