About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at Covertite Eastern Ltd. As a key member of our estimating department, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate and detailed estimates for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate Preparation: Prepare comprehensive estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects, including preparation of master format estimates (Class A) and elemental format estimates (Classes B, C, D).
  • Cost Analysis: Analyze tenders and recommend awards, ensuring that our company secures the best possible deals for our clients.
  • Communication: Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to discuss changes and adjustments to cost estimates, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Supply Chain Management: Maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors, ensuring that our company has access to the best suppliers and contractors for our projects.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms, providing detailed information to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of construction estimating principles and practices.
  • Language: Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Work Hours: 44 hours per week, with flexibility to work additional hours as required.
