Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at 2493824 Ontario Ltd. as a key member of our food service team.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety.
- Dishwashing: Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and ensure they are properly stored.
- Food Preparation: Assist in preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items, and portion and wrap foods as needed.
- Stock Management: Stock refrigerators and salad bars with fresh ingredients and supplies.
- Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and handle and store cleaning products.
- Support Services: Provide physical accessibility accommodations, participate in programs that support newcomers and refugees, and assist with other support services as needed.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
