Supervisor of Cleaning and Maintenance

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supervisor of Cleaning and Maintenance to join our team at Comfort Inn. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our cleaning and maintenance staff, ensuring that our hotel is always clean, safe, and welcoming for our guests.
Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning and maintenance staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning and maintenance supplies and services.
- Recommend and arrange for additional services required, such as painting, repair work, renovations, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
- Assist cleaners in performing duties and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Coordinate work activities with other departments, such as housekeeping and front desk.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that tasks are completed on time.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This is a permanent position, working 35 to 40 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to work under pressure. The successful candidate will be required to work in a hotel environment and will be exposed to cleaning and maintenance equipment and supplies.
