Job Title: Registered Massage Therapist

Homewood Health is seeking a skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our inter-disciplinary team, you will provide high-quality massage therapy services to our clients and patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, needs, and preferences to tailor massage sessions
  • Perform a range of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, active release, and cranial sacral therapy
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and document treatment in patients' charts
  • Provide massage therapy services to patients across various program areas, including the Integrated Pain Service
Requirements:
  • Registration and membership in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO)
  • Experience treating patients with musculoskeletal injuries and chronic pain an asset
  • Interest in the intersection of massage therapy and mental health
  • Empathy, compassion, and a patient-centric approach to care
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently
