About the Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting strategic decision-making within a dynamic work environment. They will be responsible for conducting analysis on production variances, planned material pricing, standard activity rates, and overhead allocations, as well as maintaining and updating standard cost models and rate structures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct analysis on production variances, planned material pricing, standard activity rates, and overhead allocations.
  • Maintain and update standard cost models and rate structures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement updates in financial systems.
  • Ensure accuracy of inventory records through regular review and reconciliation.

Inventory Control

The Financial Analyst will process complex inventory transactions, investigate discrepancies, and support physical inventory counts, including variance analysis and reporting.

General Accounting & Financial Reporting

The successful candidate will reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure proper documentation. They will also post journal entries and assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities. Furthermore, they will provide support during audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, CPA designation (or in progress), and 5-10 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment are required. Strong familiarity with ERP systems, proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, excellent analytical skills, and attention to detail are essential skills for this role.
