Job Summary

Voyago is seeking a skilled Bus Mechanic to join our team in Toronto. As a Bus Mechanic, you will be responsible for evaluating and ensuring vehicle safety through preventative maintenance, as well as making repairs and servicing vehicles in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and ensure vehicle safety through preventative maintenance, in compliance with Ministry of Transportation (MTO) and Voyago's guidelines.
  • Utilize parts from inventory or order parts necessary through the Fleet Management software to make repairs.
  • Complete repairs in a timely manner.
  • Servicing vehicles in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Keep work environment clean and tidy.
  • Complete required reports as directed.

Requirements

Your Profile

  • Registered with the STO as 310T Truck and Coach Mechanic.
  • ODP certification with A/C experience.
  • Experience and working knowledge of light duty diesel repair, as well as gasoline.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills and sound organizational competencies.
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and team-building skills.
  • Excellent proven customer service experience.
  • Valid G class driving license.
  • Safe driver with a clean driving record.
  • Preference will be given to dual 310S/310T licensed candidates.
  • Applications will be accepted for 310T apprentices.
