The ideal candidate will possess a college diploma or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting, or a similar field from a reputable post-secondary program. A PCP Designation from the National Payroll Institute (formerly Canadian Payroll Association) is also required. Minimum five years of practical Canadian payroll experience is necessary, with ADP experience in processing multi-province payroll with 100+ employees being a must. Good understanding of Canadian/BC payroll legislation and regulatory framework is essential. Advanced level working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel skills, including the ability to generate detailed reports, is required. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with customer service focus, is necessary. Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate professionally with both internal and external stakeholders are required. Ability to work independently under minimum supervision, prioritize, adapt, and manage multiple priorities while adhering to strict deadlines, and maintain confidentiality, strong work ethics, with a team-player mindset are imperative attributes.
