About the Role

This is a senior leadership position responsible for driving the technical program management function at Zebra. The successful candidate will work closely with the General Manager and Director of Product Management to execute on the company's vision and deliver new software solutions to the market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of program managers and other functions to execute on the company's vision and deliver new software solutions to the market.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business opportunities and develop solutions to address them.
  • Manage and execute large-scale programs and projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to program managers and other team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and identify opportunities to leverage them to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • BS Electrical Engineering or related technical degree, or Computer Science degree. MS preferred.
  • Minimum 12+ years' in Engineering/Program management and Scrum Master experience for products in fast-paced environments, including minimum 2 years in a management capacity.
  • Cloud application experience (i.e. GCP, AWS, Azure); have developed and launched Cloud applications.
  • Excellent program management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience building strategic roadmaps and managing annual budgeting.
  • Experience in Scaled Agile methodology.
  • Advanced expertise working independently and as part of a team to solve difficult technical, quality, cost, and schedule challenges.
  • Expert in risk management practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Android application experience strongly preferred.
  • PMP preferred.
  • Experience with Lean Start-up.
  • Ability to bring and execute new and innovative ideas to the market.
  • Strong strategic leadership and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Solid critical thinking and questioning skills.
  • Experience leading large cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, manages risks, and thrives in an environment of uncertainty and continuous innovation.
  • Able to drive definition and creation of solutions from skeleton use cases.
  • Experienced team builder, great at collaboration and managing resources; proven interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced expertise with software development best practices, including Scaled Agile, TDD, and Continuous Integration; a track record of applying these methodologies.
  • Ability to translate customer problems into solution requirements.
  • Advanced expertise with Cloud development and Software/Services development integration.
  • Some travel may be required (domestic & international) - 10-20%.
