About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at IMAX. As a key member of our LIVE Install team, you will be responsible for managing IMAX Live projects from conception through completion.

As a Project Manager, you will work closely with various internal departments to coordinate equipment deliveries, manpower requirements, and documentation. You will also work with our theater partners and IMAX's Connectivity PM to track the progress of the project and provide internal reports and schedule updates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage IMAX Live projects from conception through completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Coordinate equipment deliveries, manpower requirements, and documentation with internal departments and theater partners.
  • Track project progress and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders and theater partners.
  • Prepare and monitor project schedules and budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and cost control.
  • Coordinate with the Install Team for manpower requirements and schedules, ensuring the right people are available at the right time.
  • Monitor all Fiber Circuit installs with Connectivity PM, ensuring equipment deliveries and installations are on schedule.
  • Ensure all project-related documentation is complete, including correspondence and reports.
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets, ensuring all costs are justified and correct.
  • Provide quarterly spending forecasts for current and following quarters and years.
  • Provide information to finance on LIVE installation reports.
  • Hand system over to Technical Services once contractual commitment has been met, providing documentation to show system was installed and operating properly to start warranty period.
Requirements
  • Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to review, analyze, and prioritize information, make decisions, and provide clear and concise instructions.
  • Ability to interact with various cultures and different languages.
  • Basic budgeting and accounting skills.
  • Experience with SAP, Smartsheet, and SharePoint.
