Job Description

This role is responsible for leading a team of Governance Risk officers in ensuring risk management programs are established and maintained across Retail Business Banking Operations units. The successful candidate will have solid knowledge of operational risk management and regulatory requirements within the financial industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage your expertise to drive a customer-focused culture, deepening client relationships and leveraging broader Bank relationships.
  • Collaborate with business lines and partner compliance groups to develop and maintain an operational risk framework that ensures overall operational risk mitigation within accepted risk appetite.
  • Analyze deficiencies and prepare trending analysis reports for RBBO S/VP, making recommendations and ensuring corrective action is taken where risks/issues are identified.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Management, or related field, or minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Solid knowledge of Bank regulations, policies, procedures, and business unit operations.
  • Thorough communication skills, including business writing, executive reports, presentations, and training.
