As an Egg Farm Labourer, you will be responsible for clearing and collecting brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas. You will also monitor animal health, perform livestock feeding, and ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas
  • Monitor animal health
  • Perform livestock feeding
  • Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
  • Select livestock for sale
  • Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry
  • Perform general farm duties
  • Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market
  • Set and monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in this field of employment is an asset
  • Ability to work in a rural area and in all weather conditions
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
