Concrete Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Promax Concrete Ltd. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete surfaces.
Key Responsibilities- Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is properly set.
- Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification to meet our quality standards.
- Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools, ensuring a high-quality finish.
- Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on best practices and techniques.
- Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and extend their lifespan.
- Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures to maintain our high standards.
- Estimate costs and materials for projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
- 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
- English language proficiency is required for communication and collaboration with the team.
