Job Title: Community Director

At Centurion Asset Management Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Community Director to join our team. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our mixed-use apartment community in Etobicoke, ON.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure proactive and timely resolution of staff, contractor, vendor, and consultant performance issues.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, ensuring a high level of satisfaction through consistent attention to Centurion's vision, mission, and values.
  • Manage site staff, motivating and developing their performance to established standards.
  • Review and approve invoices, new leases, and rent collections, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify opportunities and report concerns or deficiencies to Property and Asset Management.
  • Ensure preventative maintenance is scheduled and completed, and monitor service contract performance.
  • Comply with all legislation, including the Residential Tenancies Act, Labour Relations Act, Fire Code, and Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience independently managing a multi-family, residential apartment building.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong ability to multi-task.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong command of MS Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to resolve problems using facts, sound reasoning, and common sense.
  • Forward thinking with the ability to develop creative strategic solutions to issues.
  • Strong follow-up skills with the ability to effectively resolve difficult issues in a timely manner.
