About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Universal Machining & Engineering Ltd. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to understand production requirements.
  • Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate product dimensions.
  • Document and report any deviations from specifications and tolerances to ensure quality control.
  • Set up and operate machine tools to produce products with precision and accuracy.
  • Verify product dimensions using precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train on the job.
  • English language proficiency.
  • Ability to work 35-40 hours per week.
