We are seeking a part-time Primary English and Math Teacher/Tutor to join our team at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. in Aurora, ON.

About the Role

This is a part-time position working during after-school and evening hours (3:00pm - 8:00pm). A commitment for the whole school year is preferred, with the option to continue through the summer. As a Teacher-Tutor, you will work directly with students as an Interactive Coach, teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levels.

Responsibilities
  • Teach English and Math to students at different levels
  • Follow the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
  • Filling in post-lesson notes
  • Completing daily student communication updates
  • Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Good knowledge of the current Kindergarten to Grade 12 curriculum
