Job Summary

Jack's Family Restaurant is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality cuisine and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and Cook Complete Meals - Our Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
  • Inspect Kitchens and Food Service Areas - The successful candidate will ensure that our kitchens and food service areas are clean and meet health and safety standards.
  • Maintain Inventory and Records - Our Cook will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees

At Jack's Family Restaurant, we are committed to supporting newcomers and refugees. Our Cook will play a key role in providing diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.

Support for Indigenous People

We are also committed to supporting Indigenous people. Our Cook will provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment.
