Electrical/Electronics Engineer - Obsolescence Management

Aviya Aerospace Systems is a leading provider of engineering services and solutions for mission-critical Aerospace and Defense applications. We are seeking an experienced Electrical/Electronics Engineer to join our team in Longueuil, Quebec.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise to mitigate obsolescence risks and manage associated projects to prevent impact to material flow.
  • Lead activities to improve the overall Obsolescence Management Process, including governance and technical coordination to mitigate risks.
  • Develop a strong network with suppliers and internal organizations to drive obsolescence technical issues to closure.
  • Perform supplier obsolescence risk surveys and reports.
  • Evaluate supplier's risk mitigation proposals and plan the execution of Engineering Changes.
  • Leverage Engineering and Supplier networks to drive obsolescence technical issues to closure.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Strong technical background in electronics.
  • 2+ years of experience in Engineering/Operations linked to Electronics components.
  • Knowledge of Electronic Obsolescence management is an asset.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual (French/English) is an asset.
