Job SummaryWe are seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to work in a hospital setting in Mount Forest, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care, performing initial and ongoing assessments, and developing resident care profiles.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of residents' needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with facility policies and standards.
- Provide direct patient care, including wound care and vital sign monitoring.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Registered Practical Nurse Diploma from an accredited institution.
- Active Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Availability to work shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Proficient technical skills, including MS Word and email.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
