Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to work in a hospital setting in Mount Forest, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care, performing initial and ongoing assessments, and developing resident care profiles.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough assessments of residents' needs and develop individualized care plans.
  2. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with facility policies and standards.
  3. Provide direct patient care, including wound care and vital sign monitoring.
  4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  5. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Registered Practical Nurse Diploma from an accredited institution.
  • Active Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Availability to work shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Proficient technical skills, including MS Word and email.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
