About the Role


The Financial Operations Manager will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and ensuring the smooth operation of various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.


Key Responsibilities



  • Financial Management
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely payment to employees.
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, providing valuable insights into company performance.
  • Post journal entries, accurately recording financial transactions.
  • Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports, facilitating informed business decisions.
  • Reconcile accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.

Requirements


To succeed in this role, you will need:



  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in financial operations, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial management, including accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What We Offer


As a Financial Operations Manager at MIKAEL ENTERPRISES INC, you can expect a competitive salary, ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications.
