Job Title: Project Scheduler Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Scheduler Coordinator to join our team at MS DRYWALL LTD.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing specific plans to prioritize tasks, revising materials requirements, tracking work orders, and coordinating activities with other departments. You will also be responsible for reading blueprints, written specifications, and production drawings, resolving work problems, providing technical advice, and recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks
  • Revised type and quantity of materials required
  • Track and complete work orders
  • Co-ordinate activities with other departments
  • Read blueprints, written specifications, and production drawings
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Compile worksheets and specifications of orders
  • Estimate type and quantity of materials and labour required
  • Project management
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Dispatch personnel as required by emergency situations
  • Schedule assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment
Requirements:
  • Candidate Requirements:
    • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field
    • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in project scheduling or a related field
  • Skills and Qualifications:
    • Excellent oral communication skills
    • Reliability and strong organizational skills
    • Able to work effectively in a team environment
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills
