We are seeking an experienced educator to join our team at Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles. As a Wilderness Instruction Specialist, you will be responsible for teaching adventure tourism techniques to students.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver curriculum for adventure tourism courses
• Plan and lead field trips and experiential learning activities
• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement new programs

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A degree in a related field (e.g. outdoor education, recreation, environmental science)
• Experience teaching or instructing in a wilderness setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
