The Automotive Parts Director will be responsible for overseeing the parts department at Ford Sorel Tracy, ensuring efficient inventory management and timely sales of tires and wheels. This role requires strong organizational skills, budget management abilities, and a solid understanding of SERTI and Microsoft Office software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Agenda management: Coordinate schedules and tasks to meet business objectives.
- Budget management: Develop and manage budgets for purchasing parts and accessories.
- Buying parts and accessories: Source high-quality products from reputable suppliers.
- Department supervision: Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve sales targets.
- Implementation of strategies: Develop and implement effective strategies to drive sales growth.
- Inventory management: Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize stock.
- Produce tire and accessory estimates: Provide accurate quotes to customers for tires and accessories.
- Sell parts and accessories: Meet or exceed sales targets through effective sales techniques.
- Stocktaking: Conduct regular stock audits to ensure accuracy.
- Store management: Oversee the daily operations of the parts department.
- Tires and wheels sales: Drive sales growth through targeted marketing campaigns.
- Warehouse management: Ensure efficient storage and retrieval of inventory.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3 years of experience as an Automotive Parts Manager.
- Proficiency in SERTI - Admin, Microsoft Office, and Outlook Progi SDS.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
