BDO Canada is a leading professional services firm with a strong presence in the country. As an experienced business leader, you will be responsible for operationalizing and managing the Oracle NetSuite service line within our Solution Operations practice.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join our fast-paced and growing team, working from anywhere in Canada. Your primary focus will be on driving continuous improvement and contributing to the evolution of the practice. You will own the delivery and operations of key accounts, leveraging your entrepreneurial spirit to grow and mature the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Management: Support the addition of new talent through participation in the recruitment process, and provide ongoing mentoring and coaching to ensure team members have the skills and capacity required to deliver our service offerings.
  • Engagement Management: Manage multiple engagements against budget, timeline, and scope, providing financial and accounting recommendations to clients operating on Netsuite.
  • Operations: Ensure effective delivery of operations and high customer service, adhering to a consistent standardized service delivery model rooted in IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related discipline.
  • Oracle NetSuite ERP Consultant certification.
  • 6+ years of experience with Oracle NetSuite ERP systems.
  • 5+ years' experience in the Information Technology / Consulting space with demonstrated operational experience.
  • 5+ years' experience in overseeing software projects/programs.
  • 5+ years' experience in managing and mentoring a team of at least 5 team members.
  • 5+ years' experience in engaging in pre-sales activities, including estimations and proposal writing.
  • 3+ years' experience in managing upwards, including engaging with senior customer personnel.
  • 3+ years' experience in creation and implementation of operational procedures and continuous improvement activities.
