About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Cook to join our team at The Vintage Punjab. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of traditional dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation

Plan and prepare menus that showcase the rich flavors and aromas of traditional ethnic cuisine.

Cooking and Food Preparation

Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to order, using a variety of cooking techniques and ingredients.

Kitchen Management

Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies and equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Staff Training and Development

Train and develop kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional service.

Quality Control

Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Work Setting

Restaurant environment.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and stand for extended periods.
