Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Ocean View Continuing Care Centre. As a Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for the organization and management of the nursing unit, ensuring that our high standards for quality care are maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the nursing team to provide high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery
- Conduct regular audits and quality improvement initiatives
- Provide education and training to staff members
Requirements:
- Current registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing
- Bachelor of Nursing Degree or Nursing Administration Course (preferred)
- Three (3) years geriatric nursing experience
- Demonstrated administrative experience and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively as a contributing team member
