Job Title: Electric Appliance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electric Appliance Technician to join our team at Ontario Inc. as a permanent employee. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing household appliances, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install interior prefabricated products, including appliances, with precision and attention to detail.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring professionalism and a positive experience for clients.
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure accurate installations.
  • Repair and service interior prefabricated products, including appliances, to maintain their optimal performance.
  • Determine layout and installation procedures to ensure efficient and safe work practices.
  • Document and prepare invoices and work orders, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely payment.
  • Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations, ensuring precision and accuracy.
  • Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, ensuring a well-organized and efficient workspace.
  • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Supervise other workers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize hand and power tools, maintaining a high level of proficiency and ensuring safe work practices.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset, but not required.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a physically demanding environment, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. Overtime may be required, and repetitive tasks may be involved.

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, exceeding 45 kg (100 lbs).
