Matrix Labour Leasing Ltd is seeking skilled Carpenters to join our team of construction professionals. As a Carpenters, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to carpentry work, including selective demolition, framing, back framing, formwork, finishing, and rough carpentry.
Key Responsibilities- Perform selective demolition and removal of waste.
- Framing (wood and steel).
- Back framing.
- Formwork.
- Finishing and rough carpentry.
- Operate hand and power tools.
- Work closely with other members of the Carpentry team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
As a Carpenters, you must be willing to perform a wide variety of tasks with varying physical requirements, including lifting, climbing ladders, and being on your feet for extended periods of time. You must also be willing to work at height and in confined spaces, and be exposed to varied weather conditions.
Qualifications- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior carpentry work experience.
- Versatility in all types of general carpentry.
- Proficient with the safe operation of carpentry tools and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
- Ability to work safely with other workers and abide by our client's safety manual.
- Relevant construction experience, residential or commercial.
- Valid Driver's Licence (asset).
- Tool Pouch.
- Full PPE.
- AWP preferred.
- Fall Protection preferred.
- CSTS 2020.
- WHMIS 2015.
