About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team at 411 Drives Service and Performance. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and repair of automobiles, trucks, and heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fluid Maintenance: Add or replace hydraulic and transmission fluids to ensure optimal performance and longevity of vehicles.
  • Assisting Mechanics: Assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Oil Changes: Change engine oil and lubricate running gears or moving parts of automobiles, trucks, or heavy equipment to prevent wear and tear.
  • Greasing and Lubrication: Grease booms, pulleys, buckets, and other components of heavy equipment to ensure smooth operation.
  • Installation and Repair: Install replacement mufflers, exhaust pipes, shock absorbers, or radiators, and repair and balance tires to ensure safe and efficient vehicle operation.
  • Filter Replacement: Replace oil, air, and fuel filters on motor vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment to maintain optimal performance.
  • On-Site Services: Provide on-site services to customers, including oil changes, tire repairs, and other maintenance tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train, but previous experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
