Job Description

At Foilcon, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Tester to join our team. As a key member of our testing team, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements and designing test plans to ensure our systems meet the required standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements and design test plans to ensure system functionality and meet business requirements
  • Execute system and user acceptance tests adhering to HSC Test Methodology
  • Verify actual results meet expected results and examine test databases using SQL and JCL
  • Document and monitor resolution of system variances using an automated problem management system
  • Provide recommendations to the Project Manager on the acceptance or rejection of changed system components

Requirements:

  • Recent experience in systems testing
  • Ability to understand and analyze business requirements and systems response documents
  • Continuous experience as a tester in an MVS/COBOL/DB2 environment
  • Significant experience with SQL and JCL
  • Ability to write test plans and test cases that are well-structured and easily understood
