About the Role

Muskoka Mechanical Services Inc is seeking a skilled Gas Fitter to join our team. As a Gas Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas appliances and equipment in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair gas appliances and equipment in accordance with safety codes and regulations.
  • Study drawings and specifications to determine the layout of installations and materials required.
  • Test and adjust control mechanisms and check pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using gas detecting devices.
  • Test and replace defective equipment or components.
  • Ensure all work is completed in a safe and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Gas Fitter Trade Certification.
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Gas Fitter Certificate - Level 1 or A.
  • Gas Fitter Certificate - Level 2 or B.
  • 5 years or more of experience in the trade.
