We are seeking a skilled Concrete Mason to join our team at Imeneo Construction Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of concrete structures, from formwork to finishing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and prepare formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials
  • Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to specifications
  • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete
  • Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specifications
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Apply finishes to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
  • Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Handling heavy loads
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Attention to detail
  • Standing for extended periods
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding environments
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Language and Work Schedule
  • English or French language proficiency
  • 35 hours per week
