Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled AZ Driver to join our Transportation team, responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of metal materials to and from our recycling facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate an AZ-class commercial vehicle to transport metal materials, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
  • Safely load and unload metal materials onto the truck using appropriate equipment and secure the load to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
  • Perform manual tarping if necessary.
  • Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, ensuring that it is in good working condition.
  • Complete accurate and thorough records of deliveries and any other required documentation.

Requirements

  • Valid AZ driver's license with a clean CVOR and Drivers Abstract.
  • Experience driving 18 speed manual transmission is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an AZ Driver.
  • Must be physically fit to hand tarp 40 and 53yd bins.
  • Customer service-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform loading and unloading activities as required.
  • Familiarity with metal recycling processes and materials is an asset.
