Artistic Gymnastics Coach

The Grande Prairie Gymnastics Society seeks an experienced and qualified coach to join our Women's Artistic Program. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with athletes, coaches, and members to develop and implement artistic gymnastics programs.

We are looking for a part-time coach to work approximately 9-20 hours per week. The ideal candidate has technical expertise, emotional intelligence, and a supportive coaching style. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing effective training plans to support athlete development
• Assessing individual and team performance to track progress and ensure improvement
• Preparing athletes for competitions, providing guidance and support during events

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• C1 NCCP Artistic Gymnastics certification
• High School Diploma required
• 2+ years of coaching experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to lead, motivate, and coach others with empathy, patience, and support

This is a part-time position with a salary range of $35,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

The coach will work in person at our facility and may be required to work evenings and weekends as needed. A satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector search is also required.
