We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at Grace Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care, work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional registered nursing services for patients, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs.
- Administer prescribed medical treatments, lead the healthcare team, and facilitate coordination of patient care and discharge.
- Work independently and as part of a team to prioritize patient care and ensure efficient use of resources.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.
- Recent, related experience is an asset.
- Successful completion of WRHA Emergency Nursing Orientation (ENO) training Level 1 within 2 months of hire and remaining level 2 and 3 completed within 12 months of hire.
- CPR Training at the Healthcare Provider level required.
- Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) certification for program area is an asset.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training an asset.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) training an asset.
- Trauma Nursing Core course (TNCC) an asset.
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric course (ENPC) an asset.
- Emergency Practice, Interventions and Care (EPICC) Foundations course an asset.
- Emergency Practice, Interventions and Care (EPICC) Trauma course an asset.
Compensation Package:
The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, health insurance, and retirement savings plan.
