Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team at EVRAZ North America. As a Laborer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our mill and shredder facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain the work area, including conveyor pulleys and surrounding areas.
  • Pick copper from moving conveyors to ensure high-quality material is shipped to our customers.
  • Assist shredder mechanics with projects, including changing out conveyors, bearing shafts, and greasing.
  • Meet monthly production goals by working efficiently and safely.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the position, including standing, walking, sitting, climbing, crawling, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to work in variable weather conditions and an environment subject to dust, odors, fumes, and noise.
  • Ability to learn and follow direction, with a strong work ethic and self-motivation.
  • Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.
