Business Analyst - BI Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team at Belron Canada. As a Business Analyst - BI, you will play a critical role in understanding and documenting business processes, identifying needs, and translating those needs into technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document existing business processes and Business Intelligence needs.
  • Develop and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), and other technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with business teams and technical teams to design and deploy effective Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Analyze and resolve Business Intelligence-related issues.
  • Participate in the collection and analysis of data necessary for defining and evolving our Business Intelligence products.
  • Manage the demand process from needs definition to change implementation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence.
  • 3-6 years of professional experience in BI business analysis.
  • Mastery of data warehousing modeling, ETL, and DataLake concepts.
  • Experience in developing Business Intelligence solutions in Microsoft environments.
  • Knowledge of SnowFlake and AWS SDLF.
  • Knowledge of the DevOps approach.
  • Previous experience in a Scrum team for structuring BI projects.
  • Demonstrates initiative and innovation.
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal relations, communication, and teaching skills.
  • Excellent writing skills with proficiency in both French and English, written and spoken.
