Kitchen Team Member

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at A1 Indian Restaurant Ltd dba Tandoori Flare. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cooking and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will be responsible for determining the size of food portions and costs, planning menus and estimating food requirements, and supervising kitchen staff and helpers.
In addition to your culinary skills, you will also be responsible for maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and ensuring that the kitchen and work areas are clean and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
- Determine the size of food portions and costs

Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment
- Strong background in cooking and menu planning
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
