About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Vendor Quality Surveillance Coordinator to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring vendor/supplier implementation of their quality plan, ensuring compliance with specified requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineering to identify Equipment Criticality Rating (ECR) for each item from each point of supply.
  • Work with procurement and vendors to identify points of supply requiring QS Inspector attendance.
  • Provide updates to the VQS Lead on surveillance levels and forecasted hours to complete.
  • Facilitate pre-inspection alignment meetings and implement the VQS execution plan.
  • Recruit and engage QS Inspection personnel with the VQS Lead.
  • Coordinate QS Inspector attendance at scheduled inspections and review outputs.
  • Administer non-conformance management and closure processes.
  • Coach and mentor QS Inspection personnel on effective VQS implementation.
  • Participate in purchase order closeout processes with purchasing.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Relevant technical qualifications enabling competent exchange of information between parties.
  • High degree of technical aptitude and familiarity with various materials, equipment types, disciplines, and supply items.
  • Experience reviewing and interpreting specifications, standards, codes, drawings, and statutory requirements.
  • Previous experience with manufacturing quality control and quality assurance.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 or equivalent quality management standards.
  • Good knowledge of industry standards and regulations for inspection and testing activities.
  • Proven track record in a similar position.
  • Excellent understanding of project execution, especially in EPCM environments with a strong materials management focus.
