Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Photo Lab Specialist to join our team at London Drugs. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for assisting in the production of photofinishing services and providing exceptional customer service at our photofinishing counter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Imaging Operations: Print, process, and sort film of all sizes and types, ensuring high-quality results and meeting quality and service standards.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain equipment under the direction of the Photo Lab Manager, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Chemical Management: Mix chemicals and perform general housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Digital Imaging: Scan film using a PC for digital delivery of images, ensuring accurate and high-quality results.
Customer Service

As a Photo Lab Specialist, you will provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. You must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.

Requirements
  • Experience: Preference will be given to applicants with experience in film processing, photography equipment, Photoshop, and basic desktop applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook or equivalent).
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
