Job Title: Manager, P&CB Finance

Job Summary:

The Manager, P&CB Finance will provide financial advisory support to the Regional Banking National Office, including Physical Networks Strategy, Planning & Integration, Retail & Business Distribution Strategy & Performance, and Regional Banking Support/Rewards & Recognition. The successful candidate will lead NIE/FTE processes, including Five Year Outlook, annual planning, ongoing NIE/FTE forecasts, T-5 estimates, and monthly monitoring of NIE/FTE results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert analysis and advice to senior management teams through reporting and insights for total NIE and FTE.
  • Lead Regional Banking National Office NIE/FTE as part of the annual Five Year Outlook and planning process.
  • Work with business partners to prepare bi-annual forecasts and annual plan/5YO for NIE/FTE.
  • Make recommendations on distribution of platform NIE challenges to Regional Banking and identification of opportunities.
  • Develop and prepare Regional Banking National Office forecasts and engage strategic partners to prepare T-5 estimates and forecasts.
  • Review business performance with Regional Banking National Office and provide value-added insights.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years' experience in financial reporting & analysis and cost management.
  • Experience using metrics, KPIs, and cost/value drivers in performance management.
  • Experience with unique financial systems such as EPM (Cognos TM1).
  • Solid business acumen and problem-solving skills.
  • Curious and proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • B. Comm, CPA-CA/CMA/CGA, MBA, CFA, or equivalent work experience.
  • Exposure to the Bank's Retail/Business network, products, and services.
  • A varied working career including positions in a number of areas of RBC or another financial institution.
  • Knowledge and understanding of banking products and processes.
