About The Great Glass Elevator Candy Shop

We are a dynamic retail business seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our sales goals are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively manage and coordinate the work of sales staff to ensure that all areas of the store are adequately covered.
  • Hire and Train or Arrange for Training of Staff: Recruit, train, and develop the skills of new employees to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Order Merchandise: Place orders for inventory and merchandise to ensure that the store is well-stocked and that sales goals are met.
  • Authorize Return of Merchandise: Process returns and exchanges in a fair and efficient manner, ensuring that customers are satisfied with their experience.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure that the store is adequately staffed during peak periods.
  • Sell Merchandise: Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and making recommendations to customers to drive sales.
  • Prepare Reports on Sales Volumes, Merchandising, and Personnel Matters: Analyze sales data and provide insights to management on sales trends, customer behavior, and staff performance.
  • Resolve Issues that May Arise, Including Customer Requests, Complaints, and Supply Shortages: Effectively manage and resolve customer complaints, supply chain issues, and other problems that may arise.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory: Ensure that inventory is accurately counted, stored, and rotated to prevent spoilage and ensure that stock levels are maintained.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Workers: Provide guidance, support, and feedback to sales staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
