About the Role

Fraida Saxe is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Home Child Care Provider to join our team. As a key member of our family support services, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to children in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Development: Provide high-quality care and supervision to children, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and engaging in activities that promote their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Household Management: Manage the household, including light housekeeping, cleaning, and meal preparation, to ensure a safe and healthy environment for the children.
  • Transportation and Errands: Transport children to and from school, appointments, and other activities, as well as run errands as needed.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open and effective communication with parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and comfort to children, including discipline and guidance, to promote their emotional well-being.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in child care or a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, bend, and move children and household items as needed.
