Aerospace Procurement Specialist

About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Aerospace Procurement Specialist to join our team at Canadian Helicopters Limited. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with strong purchasing and procurement skills to work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Send requests for quotes to suppliers, prepare purchase orders, and procure aeronautical products within established company policies and Canadian Aviation Regulations.
• Search for products to meet demand and negotiate the best prices with suppliers.
• Verify that all suppliers of parts are approved by the company and listed in the Company Approved Vendors database.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers based on price, delivery time, and quality.
• Ensure that used suppliers are approved according to company procedures.
• Daily review of material requirements.
• Other related duties as required.

Requirements:

• Experience in purchasing parts is an asset.
• Bilingualism (French and English) is required due to the company's pan-Canadian presence.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software.
• Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel) and internet; knowledge of AS is an asset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Negotiation skills.
• Organizational skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $60,000 to $80,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a retirement savings plan. Additionally, employees may be eligible for bonuses and other incentives based on performance.
